10 managers got fired, a lot of teams got consolidated, and I changed territories. So the big news is I'm now on the 9-630 shift! :D

Far out. Do major shake-ups like this happen often in software sales? Or was this a kinda random event? I mean, if this happens all the time I can imagine morale would be a little fragile!

It's not really that common. It's a weird combination of factors. It was the end of the year and we're being "officially" assimilated into our parent company this year.
